Research Centre for Banking and Capital Markets Law including Capital Markets Criminal Law

A cooperation between the academic chairs for Civil Law, European and International Business Law; for Civil Law and Legal History; and for German, European and International Civil and Trade Law of the Leibniz University Hannover, together with the academic chairs for Criminal Law; for Criminal Procedural Law; and for Economic and Environmental Criminal Law of the Freie Universität Berlin

The Research Centre is dedicated to an area of law of great practical relevance, characterized by the interaction of various fields represented by centre members. The Centre promotes the design and implementation of research projects in conjunction with other institutions. In the areas of banking and capital market law, as well as capital market criminal law, the Research Centre is also active by means of numerous events and publications.

The Research Centre cooperates with the International Center for Compliance and Governance (ICCG) at Justus-Liebig-University Gießen, headed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Rotsch.
