DFG-funded project in prison research - student and graduate research assistant position available

The Department of Criminal Law and Criminology is involved in FUELS, has its research focus on Punishment & Society research, juvenile criminal law, criminology of state crimes, and correctional research, and is a focal point for researchers from abroad.

Titled “What really matters in prison: Exploring the concept of climate and resocialisation across borders”, this DFG-funded project will among other things involve data collection in correctional facilities in Germany and Switzerland (e.g. interviews with prisoners and staff, observations, etc.). It will start on June 1 and welcomes applications until April 25. Please see the respective job opening for the student and graduate research assistant position for further information.
