Columbia Law School’s two summer programs are returning next July to in-person teaching on our iconic campus in the City of New York.

Current and former students of Freie Universität Berlin applying to the US Business Law Academy before February 15 will receive a $1,500 discount (subject to space limitations). 

The US Business Law Academy (USBLA) is a three-week program for advanced law students and practitioners.  It offers insight into U.S. legal practices from preeminent scholars from Columbia Law School and other world-renowned institutions.  A one-page summary can be found here.

Topics include:

  • Introduction to US Legal Institutions
  • Introduction to Negotiation
  • Comparative Corporate Governance
  • Deals: The Law and Economics of Transactions

The Global Law and Business Seminar (GLBS) is a one-week program for global business lawyers and business managers.  A one-page summary can be found here.

Participants choose one of three topics:  

  • Introduction to FinTech Law
  • Topics in International Arbitration
  • Getting the Deal Done: Cross-Border M&A in the U.S.
