Course Content

This course analyzes the role of international law in regulating artificial intelligence ("AI") . It focuses on emerging legal issues such as autonomous systems, cross-border data flows, surveillance, and algorithmic decision-making, while evaluating the adequacy of existing international legal norms and institutions in addressing these challenges. The course engages with ongoing international debates on AI governance, standard-setting, and the development of cooperative regulatory approaches at the global and regional levels.

Type of Exam

Evaluation occurs on the basis of a final written exam (120 minutes).

Students who drop this course via Campus Management are automatically de-registered from the exam. Students who do not drop this course via Campus Management and do not take part any longer, are going to finish this course with a non-passing grade (0 points).
