Zur Person

Erna Cassarà ist seit Mai 2020 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Professur für Öffentliches Recht und die Internationalisierung der Rechtsordnung - Univ.-Prof. Dr. Helmut Aust, Fachbereich Rechtswissenschaft der Freien Universität Berlin. In ihrer Dissertation beschäftigt sie sich im Bereich des internationalen Rechts und vergleichenden Verfassungsrechts mit dem Recht auf Stadt und sozialen Bewegungen in Berlin und Johannesburg, Südafrika. Erna Cassarà wird von der Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung gefördert.

Erna Cassarà studierte Rechtswissenschaften mit einem Schwerpunkt im Europarecht und Internationalem Recht an der Freien Universität Berlin sowie am Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London. Während ihres Studiums war sie bereits als studentische Mitarbeiterin an der Professur für Öffentliches Recht und die Internationalisierung der Rechtsordnung - Univ.-Prof. Dr. Helmut Aust tätig (2017-2020). 

Curriculum vitae

Erna Cassarà is a Research and Teaching Fellow at the Chair of Public Law and International Law (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Helmut Aust) at the Department of Law of Freie Universität Berlin since May 2020. In her PhD project she is working in the field of international law and comparative constitutional law on the right to the city and social movements in Berlin and Johannesburg, South Africa. Erna Cassarà receives funding from the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation.

Erna Cassarà studied law with a focus on European and international law at the Free University of Berlin and at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London. During her studies she was a student assistant at the Chair of Public Law and International Law of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Helmut Aust (2017-2020).
