Students visit EU institutions in Brussels
News from Apr 11, 2016
For the second year in a row, the MBL-FU has visited the EU institutions.
On April 5, 2016 our students visited the European Parliament where they enjoyed an exciting Q&A on the current hottest issues in EU politics (Brexit, refugee crisis, Euro crisis etc.) with Labour MEP Mrs Catherine Stihler, followed by a visit to the EP plenary chamber.
In the afternoon, the group moved on to the Berlaymont where the lectures by Commission’s officials Mrs Elisabetta Canetta (Cartel Damages Directive), Mrs Neda Angelova (Digital Single Market) and Dr. Oliver Koch (EU Energy Policy) took place.
Parts of the group later on proceeded to the historic city of Bruges.
