Applications for the MBL-FU can only be submitted via the Application Portal of FU Berlin. We do not use uni-assist for applications. The Application Portal will be activated during the annual MBL-FU application period from January through April. Due to the current global public health crisis, the application period for the academic year 2020/21 has been extended. Applications can be submitted until May 17, 2020.
Please mind the following steps to complete your application.
1. Create an application account
In order to apply for a place in the MBL-FU programme, you must create an applicant account on the FU Berlin Application Portal. As soon as the portal is activated, you can create your account here.
Please follow the link Online form for Continuing Education Master programs. Make sure to pick European and International Business, Competition and Regulatory Law in the section Degree sought/Subject. After the completion of the online application form, you will receive your application number and login data as well as further details about your continued access to this portal.
2. Upload application documents
All required application documents must be uploaded to the portal. They can be uploaded at once or seperately until the end of the application period. Documents sent by post or email won't be considered. The following documents are requested for your application:
- CV (tabular)
- motivation letter
- university degree documents (diploma/transcript of grades/diploma supplement)
- proof of English language proficiency (see Admission Requirements for more information)
- proof of postgraduate work experience
If some of your application documents were not issued in German or English, you are requested to submit an additional translation into either German or English by a certified translator.
For the upload of your application documents, please access your applicant account here with the login data you were given after registration. Please note that you will not be able to upload your documents to the portal on the day of your registration. After registration, you will have to wait for one day before the upload function in the portal is activated.
3. Checking the status of your application
All application documents must and can be uploaded until the end of the application period on May 17. Until then, you can also check the status of your application in your applicant account. As the portal does not send automatised notices of receipt, we will inform you individually at our earliest convenience about missing documents.
We do not practice rolling admission. All complete applications submitted until May 17, will be considered equally. The MBL-FU Admission Board gathers in May and all applicants will be informed about their admission or rejection until late May.
