Andreas Buser is a research and teaching associate at the chair for international law and German public law, Prof. Dr. Heike Krieger at Freie Universität Berlin. In 2020 he finished his PhD and now holds a post-doc position. He teaches undergraduate courses in international law and administrative law. In his PhD thesis he focused on the impact of emerging powers on certain norms of international economic law. His research interests more broadly include theories of global justice and international law, human rights law, international economic law, law & development and Third World Approaches to International Law. Mr. Buser is a visiting researcher at the KFG research group on the “rule of law” and associate prosecutor of the DFG funded project on “Protracted Conflicts”.

Currently he also works as a Rechtsreferendar (Kammergericht Berlin) with internships at the German Federal Ministry of Commerce and the European Center for Constitutional- and Human Rights.
