Andreas Buser is a research and teaching associate at the chair for international law and German public law, Prof. Dr. Heike Krieger at Freie Universität Berlin and a PhD candidate in public international law at the same institution. He teaches undergraduate courses in international law and administrative law. In his earlier studies of law at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and Freie Universität Berlin Andreas Buser specialised in public international and European Union law. In his PhD thesis he focuses on the impact of BRICS on certain norms of international economic law. His research interests more broadly include theories of global justice and international law, human rights law, international economic law, law & development and Third World Approaches to International Law.
