Auch dieses Jahr zeigen Annett Zupke und Kirstin Drenkhahn im Rahmen der Kriminologie-Vorlesung den Film "The pain is still raw" über ein Restorative Justice-Projekt in einem Hochsicherheitsgefängnis in den USA. Interessent_innen sind herzlich eingeladen.
Darum geht es in dem Film:
This 30-minute documentary tells the story of treatment program that includes three days of Restorative Justice. In those three days, everyone is sharing in a talking circle including prisoners, persons from the outside who have been victimised by violent crime and other members of the community. The setting is Green Bay Correctional Institution, a maximum security prison for adult male convicts in Wisconsin/USA. By showing scenes from the talking circle and giving a voice to participants from the inside and the outside, the film makes a strong case for opening the restricted place of the penitentiary to Restorative Justice ideas and practices.
