Nr. 4/07 Slobodanka Milikić: European Integration and its Effects on Minority Protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Slobodanka Milikić – 2007
The protection of national minorities in BiH had and has different social-demographic and structural preconditions. In addition to the numerically dominant, the so-called “constituent peoples”—Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs, a lot of small minorities live in BiH. None of the constituent peoples represent a majority on the national level and, depending on the particular part of BiH, can also represent a minority. This paper will not only deal with the “real” national minorities, but the situation of the three constituent peoples will also be described.
