Ms Mendelsohn studied law at Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Connecticut, School of Law. Afterwards, she worked as a teaching assistant, lecturer and research assistant in competition law at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Dr. Dres. H.c. Franz Jürgen Säcker and Prof. Dr. Heike Schweitzer at Freie Universität Berlin where she also wrote her doctoral dissertation in banking law on macro-prudential regulation and systemic risk.
She is currently completing the German law clerkship at the High Court of Berlin during which she worked at the lower court in Berlin-Neukölln, the public prosecutor’s office, the Federal Ministry of Finance and the practice group Financial Market Regulation with Linklaters LLP in Frankfurt.
